The ratio of the height and width of the uploaded image is calculated and the closest match is found. We suggest choosing a product of a similar ratio because less cropping will be required.
For example, if you have a rectangular image measuring 30cm by 40cm (ratio 3:4) and you select a square piece of either Canvas or Acrylic Art measuring 30cm by 30cm (ratio 1:1), we will need to crop (remove) a piece of the image 30cm by 10cm.
Note: We send out proofs of all images so that when cropping is required, you can check we have done it as you would like.
